“ This market has been around since I was a kid, my mother use to love to get her round colby jack cheese sliced thin from there. It warms the heart to see that this store is still pretty much the same, tho there have been some updates of course. The staff are as friendly as ever, much wider selection of groceries, prices are not bad at all, no long wait at the register. I love the added personal touch of the memory wallsphotos of all the shoppers that have come in thru the years hugged every wall of the store in a unique collage. Very humble market ”
“ As part of my commute, Ive been driving by this charming little market for 25 years and never stopped in! Its underneath the overpass at 30th and Massachusetts Avenue off of Emerson Avenue. Ive always wanted to know what it was like there and I finally stopped today because I had a little free time. Its a nice neighborhood market, perfect for running in and grabbing some bread, some juice, freshly sliced deli meat, regionally produced candies and all sorts of goodies. My goody of choice was this black cherry lemonade drink from a company called Calypso. Delicious! ”
